Product Information

Zirpine 1 mg/ml Oral Solution is an antihistamine used to relieve the symptoms of hayfever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) and year-round allergies such as those caused by dust mites or pet dander (perennial allergic rhinitis), and to relieve itching and rash associated with chronic nettle rash (chronic idiopathic urticaria). It contains cetirizine and is described as non-drowsy in most people, although drowsiness can still occur. This is a pharmacy medicine, so the sale should be reviewed by the pharmacy team before it is completed. It is not suitable for everyone, including people with certain kidney problems or difficulty passing urine. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or considering use for a child, please speak to your pharmacist. If symptoms persist, seek advice. Our pharmacist is available for advice. How To Use

Adults and children 12 years and over: 10 ml (10 mg) once a day. Children 6-12 years: 5 ml (5 mg) twice a day. Children 2-6 years: 2.5 ml (2.5 mg) twice a day. Take with a drink of water. Do not exceed the stated dose. Speak to your pharmacist before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, if you have kidney problems, or about the correct dose for a child. Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.
