For over 100 years the Ronaghan Family has been at the Heart of Pharmacy in Ireland. Having been founded by Peter Ronaghan in 1918, Ronaghans is now into their third generation of the business with brothers Andrew and Peter Ronaghan managing the business.

At Ronaghan’s, we give our customers a professional and friendly service, helping those to want to look and feel their best.

Our pharmacists are truly passionate about all areas of healthcare and provide reliable, accurate, and up to date advice. They all undergo continuing professional development on a yearly accredited basis to ensure that they stay ahead in the healthcare field.

The Cosmetics area in Ronaghan’s has grown over the years, from being the first family-owned store in Ireland to have the Lancôme cosmetics agency, to now having many of the world’s leading perfumes, skincare, and makeup brands.

Our Skincare and Fragrance advisors undergo extensive and on-going training to ensure that our customers get the expertise and advice they need. Cosmetics, Skincare, Fragrance, and Beauty have been a major part of Ronaghans Business since the start and it is this passion that has kept us at the forefront of the Market, always researching and introducing new brands for our customers.

Ronaghan's Pharmacy was established in Monaghan town in 1918 by Peter Ronaghan. He came from a farming background and followed his brother Eugene into the pharmaceutical profession. Having served his time working in the well-established Harrington's Pharmacy group in Cork he came home to Monaghan to set up his own Pharmacy.

As the business grew Peter bought Whitla's pharmacy, The Diamond in 1933. The Whitla family is synonymous with pharmaceutical excellence as shown by the famous Whitla's Pharmacy material medical and therapeutics reference book. It was Peter's professionalism that convinced the Whitla family to sell to Peter as he had endeavored to uphold the standards set by them in the business.
