Product Information

Buscopan 10mg Coated Tablets contain hyoscine butylbromide, an antispasmodic medicine. They may help relieve cramps (spasm) of the gastrointestinal tract and provide symptomatic relief of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). This is a pharmacy-only medicine and our pharmacist is available for advice. Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.

How To Use

For abdominal cramps, adults and children over 12 take two tablets (20mg) four times daily. For IBS, start with one tablet up to three times daily, increasing if needed up to two tablets four times daily. Do not take continuously for more than 2 weeks. Not recommended for children under 12. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 2 weeks, consult your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your pharmacist before use.
