Product Information

Alka-Seltzer is an effervescent medicine that dissolves in water to help relieve headaches accompanied by acid indigestion, heartburn or an upset stomach. It contains aspirin to ease pain and sodium bicarbonate to help reduce excess stomach acid, providing relief from both discomfort and digestive symptoms.

As this product contains aspirin, it should not be used by children or teenagers under 16 years of age, or by anyone with a stomach ulcer or an allergy to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs). If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any other medicines, or have an existing medical condition, speak to your pharmacist or healthcare professional before using this product. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.

How To Use

Dissolve the tablets fully in a glass of water and drink. Follow the dose stated on the pack and leaflet, leaving the recommended interval between doses and not exceeding the maximum in 24 hours. Per tablet (standard formulation): aspirin 325 mg, sodium bicarbonate 1916 mg, anhydrous citric acid 1000 mg. Confirm exact strengths against the supplied pack.
