Product Information

Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream is a licensed medicine used to help treat and soothe a range of skin conditions, including nappy rash, minor wounds such as cuts and grazes, minor burns, sunburn, eczema, acne, bedsores and chilblains. It has a water-repellent base that forms a protective barrier over the skin, which in nappy rash helps prevent irritants from urine and stools coming into contact with the skin. Zinc oxide helps reduce the loss of tissue fluid, the lanolin component acts as an emollient to soothe and soften the skin, and benzyl alcohol has mild local anaesthetic and antiseptic properties. Avoid contact with the eyes. If the condition does not improve or worsens, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If using on a child or during pregnancy or breastfeeding, speak to your pharmacist for advice. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.

How To Use

Apply a thin layer to the affected area and smooth in gently using a circular motion until the cream has disappeared. For nappy rash, apply at each nappy change. If the cream has not disappeared, too much has been used. For external use only. Refer to the patient information leaflet for full instructions.

Active Ingredients

Zinc oxide 15.25% w/w, benzyl alcohol 0.39% w/w, benzyl benzoate 1.01% w/w, benzyl cinnamate 0.15% w/w, hypoallergenic anhydrous lanolin 4.00% w/w.
