Product Information

White Soft Paraffin is a hypoallergenic, protective moisturising base for the prevention of chafing and the management of dry skin conditions and does not contain a preservative.

When applied to the skin, it leaves a layer of oil on the surface of the skin that prevents water evaporating from the skin surface.

It is a very greasy moisturiser.

It is also water repellent and helps protect the skin from irritants.

It is an emollient, sometimes known as skin lubricant.Benefits of being on this product can include restoring the skin's smoothness, softness and flexibility by helping the skin retain its moisture.

• Remains on the skin for longer, so the moisturising effect lasts longer.
  
• As a moisturiser: To restore skin’s smoothness, softness and flexibility,apply as often as required, particularly before or after washing.
  
• For prevention of chafing:Before walking or sports activities, apply to areas where friction occurs between skin and clothing
  
• Preservative free
  
• Topical application of petrolatum can help the skin’s outer layer recover from damage, reduce inflammation, and generally help the skin heal
  
• A 96 hour (4-application) patch test in healthy volunteers was carried out to investigate the comparative skin irritation potential of the Cosmetic Product and two controls following cutaneous patch application
  
• Patch testing with the applicable claims “Dermatologically tested”, “Suitable for babies/newborns”, “Paediatrician approved”, “Clinically tested”, “Clinically proven”, “Kind to skin”, “Mild for skin”, “Safe for skin” and “Suitable for sensitive skin” are all substantiated.
