Lyclear Express Treat & Protect Head Lice Spray is an insecticide-free treatment for head lice and their eggs. It works by a physical action, coating and dehydrating lice and eggs rather than by a chemical insecticide, which means lice cannot become resistant to it. The formula also helps make the hair a less welcoming environment for lice, helping to protect against reinfestation for a period after treatment. Suitable for use on dry hair. Avoid contact with the eyes; if the product gets into the eyes, rinse with water. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. For children, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or anyone with sensitive skin, broken skin, asthma or known allergies, speak to your pharmacist before use. Read the enclosed instructions for use before applying.

How To Use

Shake the bottle. Apply enough spray to cover all of the dry hair and scalp, paying attention to the area behind the ears and the nape of the neck, and massage in. Leave on for the time stated in the instructions (around 5 minutes for lice, up to 10 minutes to help with eggs). Wash out with shampoo and rinse with warm water, then comb through wet hair thoroughly with the fine-tooth comb to remove lice and eggs, cleaning the comb regularly. Repeat after the interval stated in the leaflet to catch any newly hatched lice.

Active Ingredients

Insecticide-free physical-action formula (mineral oil and polyisobutene based, with reinfestation-protection ingredients). Not a chemical insecticide.
