Product Information

Olbas Oil is a blend of pure plant essential oils used for the symptomatic relief of bronchial and nasal congestion, including congestion associated with colds and hayfever, by inhalation, and for the symptomatic relief of muscular pain by application to the skin. It is not suitable for infants under 3 months of age. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are using it for a child, speak to your pharmacist before use. Do not use if you are sensitive to aspirin or other anti-inflammatory painkillers, as the product contains methyl salicylate. Keep away from the eyes and do not swallow. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use. Our pharmacist is available for advice.

How To Use

For inhalation: adults and children aged 2 years and over add 2 to 3 drops to a tissue or handkerchief and inhale the vapours; it may also be added to hot (not boiling) water. For children aged 3 months to 2 years, add 1 drop to a tissue held near the nose. For muscular pain, apply a small amount to the affected area and massage gently. Do not exceed the directions on the label. Speak to your pharmacist if symptoms persist.

Cajuput oil 18.5%, eucalyptus oil 35.45%, partly dementholised mint oil 35.45%, levomenthol 4.1%, methyl salicylate 3.7%, juniperberry oil 2.7%, clove oil 0.1%.
