Product Information

Hylo-Night (formerly VitA-POS) is a sterile, preservative-free eye ointment used as a lubricant to relieve dryness and soothe tired, irritated eyes, particularly overnight. It forms a long-lasting protective film over the eye surface that helps reduce evaporation and retain moisture while you sleep. The ointment contains Vitamin A (retinol palmitate), a natural component of the tear film, in a paraffin and wool fat base. As it is a thicker night-time ointment, it may cause temporary blurring of vision, so it is best applied before going to bed. Do not use while wearing contact lenses. If eye irritation or discomfort persists, speak to your pharmacist or doctor.

How To Use

Apply a small strand (about 0.5cm) inside the lower eyelid, usually once daily before bedtime, or as directed. Blink gently to spread the ointment across the eye. Avoid touching the tube tip to the eye or any surface to keep it sterile. Remove contact lenses before use. Use within the period stated after opening on the pack.

Retinol palmitate (Vitamin A) 250 IU/g; light liquid paraffin, liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin, wool fat (lanolin).
