Product Information

Gaviscon Advance Aniseed Oral Suspension is an OTC medicine for the relief of heartburn, acid reflux and indigestion, including symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux such as acid regurgitation and a sour taste. On contact with stomach acid it forms a protective gel raft that floats on the stomach contents to help reduce reflux. Each 10ml contains sodium alginate 1000mg and potassium bicarbonate 200mg; the product also contains calcium carbonate and sodium-containing ingredients, which should be considered if you are on a controlled-sodium diet. If symptoms persist, speak to your pharmacist or doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please speak to your pharmacist before use. Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.

How To Use

Adults and children 12 years and over: 5ml to 10ml after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day. Children under 12 years: only as advised by a doctor or pharmacist. Shake before use. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Speak to your pharmacist if symptoms continue for more than 7 days.
