Thousands of people have their drink spiked every year.

Many incidents happen in clubs, at festivals or on holiday and go unreported due to embarrassment or memory loss.

Some cases can lead to sexual assault or mugging.

We can all help to protect ourselves from this danger.

What is CYD?

CYD® (Check Your Drink) is a drink spiking detection test.

It has been developed with expert chemists in the UK to help combat drink spiking.

CYD tests for Ketamine and GHB.

What are some symptoms of being spiked?

• Feeling unusually drunk when you haven’t had any or enough alcohol to feel that way.
  
• Sudden sweating or temperature change.
  
• Increase in dizziness, disorientation, hallucinations or blurred vision.
  
• Loss of bowel or bladder control.
  
• Nausea and vomiting.
  
• Loss of feeling in limbs.
  
• Memory loss or “blackouts”
  

How else do I protect myself?

• Try not to go out on your own and go with family/friends - look out for each other!
  
• Let someone know where you’re going and what time you expect to be home.
  
• If possible, make plans for your journey home at the beginning of your evening.
  
• Never leave your drinks unattended.
  
• Don’t finish your drink if you think its spiked.

How To Use

How do you use the test?

It’s really simple, just apply a drop of drink to the yellow & pink test papers.

If either test paper changes to orange or blue, DON’T DRINK!

You can also test vomit if necessary.

Deliveries to England, Wales and Scotland:
Delivery by Royal Mail. Customs charges may be incurred, depending on your order value.

International Deliveries:
Orders subject to review. Orders Delivery by Royal Mail or An Post. Customs charges may be incurred, depending on your order value.Please note, for security and legal reasons, certain items are prohibited with An Post  and Royal Mail.
