Product Information

Canesten Combi Soft Gel Pessary & External Cream is a two-part treatment for vaginal thrush (candidiasis), helping to treat the infection while relieving uncomfortable external symptoms. The pack contains a 500mg soft gel pessary, which is inserted into the vagina to target the infection, together with a 2% clotrimazole cream to help soothe itching, soreness and irritation of the surrounding skin.

If this is your first experience of thrush, if you are under 16 or over 60 years of age, or if your symptoms do not improve after treatment, seek advice from your pharmacist or doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a healthcare professional before using this product. Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.

How To Use

Wash your hands before and after use. Insert the soft gel pessary high into the vagina using the applicator provided, preferably at night. Apply the external cream thinly to the affected area of the skin two to three times a day. Follow the full instructions in the patient information leaflet, and speak to your pharmacist if you are unsure.

Soft gel pessary: clotrimazole 500mg. External cream: clotrimazole 2% w/w.
