Insect protection and bite care from The Bug Spray are stocked here in two products: the anti mosquito spray in 60ml and the bite cooling spray in 50ml.

The two are used at opposite ends of the same problem. The mosquito spray is a repellent applied to exposed skin before going out, and reapplication is what determines how well it works, since the stated duration on the pack assumes an even layer and shortens with heat, sweating and swimming. The bite cooling spray is used afterwards, applied to a bite that has already happened to take the edge off the itch and heat. Keeping both in a travel bag covers the sequence, and at 50ml and 60ml each they sit within hand luggage liquid limits. With any repellent, applying sunscreen first and the repellent on top is the usual order where both are needed. Avoid spraying near the eyes and mouth, and follow the age guidance on the pack, which differs between products and matters for young children.
