These are used differently from an everyday deodorant, and following the method matters more than with a supermarket product. Application is at night on clean, completely dry skin, left on overnight and washed off in the morning, rather than applied in the morning before going out. Frequency starts higher and reduces: typically every night or two for the first week, then less often once the effect is established, which is stated on the pack. Applying to damp skin or immediately after shaving is the most common cause of irritation, so leaving a day after shaving is worth doing. Original is the starting point for most people, with Maximum Strength the stronger of the two. If irritation develops, stop and speak with our pharmacist rather than continuing at a lower frequency. Both products come in 20ml roll-ons, which lasts considerably longer than a standard deodorant because it is used a few nights a week rather than daily.
