Nurofen Plus is a pharmacy medicine used for the short-term relief of acute moderate pain in adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over. It is suitable for a range of pain types including tension headaches, migraine, dental pain, backache, period pain, muscular pain and rheumatic pain, where other painkillers have not provided sufficient relief.

The range is available in film-coated tablet format, typically in pack sizes of 12 and 24 tablets. Each tablet is manufactured in line with the licensed product specification authorised in Ireland by the Health Products Regulatory Authority.

As a pharmacy medicine, Nurofen Plus is supplied under the supervision of a pharmacist.
