Liquid bronzer and highlighter from Lancome sit together in this range, both in 10g format. The bronzer runs across shades 05, 06 and 07, and the highlighter across 01, 02 and 03, each with a serum-light texture rather than a pressed powder.

The two products do different jobs and are commonly used together. Bronzer adds warmth back to the face, usually along the temples, the upper cheekbones and the jawline, which is where natural colour would fall. Highlighter catches light on the high points, the tops of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose and the brow bone. Because both are liquid, they blend into a base rather than sitting on top of it, which gives a softer effect than powder and suits drier skin that powder can emphasise. Apply with fingers or a damp sponge, build in small amounts, and work them in before the base has fully set so the edges disappear. Over powder they will not blend as cleanly, so the order matters. The 10g size is generous for a product used in small amounts, so one of each covers a long stretch of everyday wear.
