Bath soaks differ from shower gels in how they are used and how much you need. A soak is added to running water so it disperses as the bath fills, rather than applied directly to skin, and the capful measure on the bottle is enough for a full bath. Using more does not improve the result and leaves a residue in the tub. The two variants here differ in fragrance and intent rather than formulation: Pampering is the richer scent, Relaxing is the softer one usually chosen for evening. Both are everyday products rather than treatment ones, so if you have very dry or reactive skin, a fragrance-free bath additive is likely to suit better, and our pharmacist can point you to one. Running the bath slightly cooler also helps, since hot water strips more oil from the skin than the product adds back. Patting dry and applying a moisturiser while the skin is still slightly damp does more for dryness than any bath additive on its own.
