The Hydrating line from CeraVe is the range built for normal to dry skin, and it is gathered here across cleansing and moisturising steps. It covers the Hydrating Cleanser in 236ml and 473ml bottles, the cream-to-foam version, the Hydrating Toner, the Hyaluronic Acid Serum and the HA Water Gel moisturiser.

The products are designed to be layered in order rather than chosen between. The cleanser is the first step, formulated to wash without stripping, which is the difference between the Hydrating line and the Foaming line made for oilier skin. The cream-to-foam version is the middle ground if you want more of a lather but the same gentle base. Toner comes next, then the hyaluronic acid serum on damp skin, since hyaluronic acid draws water and works better when there is water present to draw. The water gel moisturiser seals the routine and suits anyone who finds a cream too heavy. All of them carry the ceramide base the brand is built around, which supports the skin barrier.
